Proof that DC Comics occasionally does something right. They announced today a digital-only comic based on the classic Adam West Batman series from the 60s.
Yes. Yes. YES. Despite its bad reputation, the Adam West series is one of the classic representations of the character and is responsible for Batman's notoriety outside of comics. Not to mention it's awesome, just campy and fun in a way Batman isn't allowed to be anymore. Jeff Parker, one of Marvel's better writers in recent years is set to handle story with Jonathan Case on Art and Michael Allred of Madman fame doing covers.
No word yet on release, but I can't wait.
